The clinic will start with a little one on one so each rider and horse can get some training on how to work cattle correctly followed by some Team Penning fun!
Dallas Schleg, owner of Schleg Farm in North Judson, IN will be the visiting clinician. Dallas and his wife Laura run a barn in northern Indiana where they train mainly rope horses, cutting horses, and reined cow horses. They also start a lot of colts for outside customers and just recently Dallas won the Appalachian Trainer Face Off in West Virginia. Aside from training horses, they also raise a few cows and really do their best to incorporate the working of cattle in all of their horses training. They believe that using a horse for outside work is the best way to make a well rounded and reliable horse for any
occasion.
